Ghost Stories is a visual research project that examines the contemporary architectural landscapes of medical institutions, including long-term care facilities and nursing homes, through a qualitative and interpretive lens. By combining photographic, videographic, and textual approaches, the project seeks to illuminate the personal worlds that folks inhabit within these spaces—worlds that are often overshadowed by clinical routines and institutional design. Through representation and analysis, Ghost Stories aims to foreground the emotional and lived dimensions of care environments, revealing how architecture shapes, supports, and sometimes constrains the experiences of those who reside within them.
